Mary T. Humphrey, daughter of Lewis and Delpha Humphrey, was born 24 Apr 1813 in Fluvanna County, Virginia. The family was residing in Maury County, Tennessee by 1830. Mary married Robert Baker, 19 Jan 1834 in Maury County. They were the parents of nine children. Robert Baker died in 1870 and Mary continued living in Middle Tennessee as a widow for another twenty-seven years. She died 9 Jan 1897 and was buried near her husband in the Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery in Maury County.

This is the tombstone of Robert Baker of Maury County, Tennessee. Robert was born 9 Jun 1810 in Tennessee. On 19 Jan 1834 he married Mary T. Humphrey in Maury County. He died 3 Apr 1870 and was buried in Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery in Maury County.

Also included on this headstone was his son, John A. Baker. John was born 5 Feb 1836. He married Darcus J. Harbison on 17 Jan 1858 in Maury County, Tennessee. John died at the age of 24 on 28 Jul 1860.

I don’t know anything about her, but this tombstone was in the same location as those of the other Mullins in the family; so it is probable that she was related to the Robert G. Mullins family.

The tombstone of Oliver Hazard Perry and Sarah Margaret Elizabeth (Baker) Mullins in Santa Fe Cemetery, Maury Co., Tennessee

Sarah Margaret Elizabeth Baker was the only daughter of Robert and Mary (Humphrey) Baker. She was born 22 Jun 1840 in Maury County, Tennessee.  On 26 Apr 1860 she married Oliver Hazard Perry Mullins in Maury County, Tennessee. O.H.P. Mullins was born 6 Oct 1834 in Maury County, Tennessee. He was the son of Green and Mahala (Alford) Mullins.

Oliver and Sarah were the parents of one son, Robert G. Mullins, born in 1861 in Maury County, Tennessee. During the Civil War Oliver served in the C.S.A., 4th Tennessee, Cheatham’s Division, Polk’s Corp. He worked as a carpenter (1870), a mechanic (1880) and a farmer (1900).

Oliver Mullins died the 24 Jun 1912 in Maury County, Tennessee and his wife, Sarah, died 12 Mar 1917 in Maury County, Tennessee. They are buried in the Santa Fe Cemetery, Maury County, Tennessee.

W. H. Cook was the father of Meredith Cook who was married to Lula B. Baker. He was born in 1859 in Tennessee and died in 1940. He is buried in the Santa Fe Cemetery in Maury County, Tennessee. There were a lot of small Cook family headstones in this cemetery. Does anyone have anymore information?

Matthew Blackburn was born in 1888. He was married on the 3 Mar 1910 in Maury County, Tennessee to Lillie Mae Baker. Lillie, the second child of David S. and Lena E. (Hutcheson) Baker, was born 12 May 1891 in Maury County, Tennessee and died in 1916. She is buried in Goshen Church Cemetery in Maury County, Tennessee. He later married Mattie or Nettie who was born in 1897 and died in 1993. Matthew died in 1967 and is buried along with his second wife in Santa Fe Cemetery in Maury County, Tennessee.
